Double-sided designs include artwork intended to be viewed from both sides, which may use matching or different graphics. The printing construction and artwork orientation affect how each side appears, especially when transparent acrylic and white ink are involved. For double-sided orders, provide separate front and back references and identify the intended viewing direction. The final result should be confirmed through the approved production file and sample.

For an initial review, provide your artwork, preferred finished size, shape reference, and any front or back design requirements. Production preparation may require an editable artwork file, defined cut path, attachment-hole position, and separate print layers such as white backing where applicable. The exact file formats, resolution, bleed, and clearance requirements depend on the selected process and supplier specifications. Clearly identify each design version and confirm the final production artwork before approving a sample.

White ink can be used behind selected printed colors to reduce transparency and change how the graphics appear on clear acrylic. Areas without white backing may appear more translucent, depending on the artwork and printing construction. Double-sided keychains require particular attention to the order and orientation of print layers because artwork can show through from the opposite side. Provide a clear indication of transparent and opaque areas, and review a physical sample if the effect is important to your design.

The keychain outline should follow the intended artwork while allowing suitable space for cutting and hardware attachment. Small protrusions, narrow connections, tight corners, or holes placed too close to the edge may require adjustment. Hole size and location must also suit the chosen ring, chain, or clasp. Provide your preferred cut shape and attachment position, and identify any details that must remain unchanged. The final cutting path and clearances should be confirmed for the actual material and fabrication process.

The appropriate dimensions depend on the design detail, intended handling, attachment hardware, and desired appearance. Thicker material changes the edge profile and weight, while smaller keychains may require adjustments to very fine graphics or narrow shapes. Edge appearance and corner geometry should also be considered for comfortable handling. Provide your target size, artwork, and preferred material appearance. The available material thicknesses and finishing options should be reviewed before the final specification is approved.

Attachment options may include split rings, short chains, clasps, and other compatible fittings, depending on the design and component availability. The selected hardware should match the acrylic hole position, finished dimensions, and expected use. Different fittings can affect the product's hanging direction, overall length, weight, and packaging. If you are ordering a coordinated collection, specify whether all designs use the same attachment or require different hardware. The complete assembly should be checked using the approved sample.

MOQ and unit pricing depend on the acrylic construction, finished size, printing requirements, cut shape, attachment hardware, packaging, and quantity. A collection with several characters, shapes, or color versions may require separate artwork preparation and production setup for each SKU. When requesting a quotation, provide the target quantity for every design instead of only the combined order total. This helps distinguish the per-design requirements from the overall project volume and makes quantity comparisons more meaningful.

Print appearance depends on the artwork, acrylic material, ink system, printing construction, and viewing conditions. Color references and approved samples can help establish the intended appearance, but identical digital files do not guarantee identical color perception on different materials. Handling may also expose printed or decorated surfaces to friction and contact. If abrasion resistance, color consistency, or cleaning performance is important, define the relevant acceptance criteria and request suitable evidence or sample checks for the selected production method.

Sample approval should include the finished size, cut outline, edge appearance, artwork alignment, print colors, transparency, and front-to-back orientation. Check the attachment-hole location, hardware fit, and complete assembled appearance. For multi-charm designs, review the arrangement and how the components contact each other. If the order contains several designs, confirm representative artwork versions and the complete SKU list. Any changes should be recorded against the approved production file before bulk manufacturing proceeds.
